Afghanistan: Daesh suicide blast at Hazara Mosque in Dasht-e Barchi Kabul – 57 killed, 100 wounded

Kabul – Oct 20, 2017: At least 57 Hazaras killed, 100 wounded during suicide blast at Imam Zaman Mosque in Kabul. The mosque is located in Pul-e Khusk, Dasht-e Barchi in West Kabul.

  • Note: The Imam Zaman Mosque attacked in August 2017 is different than this one

The Tehreek Taliban Pakistan (TTP) splinter Jamat-ul Ahrar (aka ISIS in Afghanistan) claimed responsibility for the attack. Its leader, Omar Khalid Khorasani, was reportedly killed in US Drone this week.

The TTPJA — as well as all major terrorist networks, such as AlQaeda, Al-Shabab, Bokoharam, Taliban, Lashkar-e Jhangvi et. al. — follow Wahhabi / Salafi ideology that is officially practiced in Saudi and GCC nations — allies of the United States and West.
